“Embracing the Wind” is an original documentary by director Petya Angelova. The film’s protagonist is Teodor Troev — a traveler, explorer, journalist, writer, poet, and long-time correspondent for the prestigious British newspaper Financial Times.

Our Task:

Director Petya Angelova approached us with a clear vision for a website to promote her upcoming film. With the premiere approaching, we had to meet tight deadlines. She had specific ideas for the color palette and content, and our job was to piece everything together on time.

Execution and Features:

We built the site using the WordPress CMS platform. One of the challenges was managing a large volume of videos and images that needed to be hosted directly on the server.

Key elements included:

  • Elegant design tailored to the director’s visual preferences

  • Large video banner on the homepage featuring a scene from the film

  • Dedicated sections for the protagonist, the film, and the production team

  • Extensive gallery with separate sections for photos and videos
